If you’re interested in assembling your own robot
The Q.bo is an open source and open hardware robot created by the Spanish company TheCorpora. The robot on wheels stands at 45 cm tall and has been in development for the last six years. The Q.bo Basic Kit comes with the plastic body covers, steel chassis, mechanical parts, webcams, and Wi-Fi antenna. With a few tweaks and upgrades, the Q.bo can be fully customized to understand commands, interact with humans, and even help around the house.
If you’re interested in assembling your own robot, the Q.bo kit can be pre-ordered online and will be shipped in the third quarter of 2012
