Laptop Uses Eye-Control As User Interface

Tobii also featured the first eye controlled arcade game

 
Tobii technology, a leading vendor in eye tracking and eye control, is showcasing its latest products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. They are currently featuring the world’s first eye controlled laptop, which has the potential to forever change the way users interact with their computers. Users will be able to switch between multiple windows, zoom in on certain parts of an image or lines of text, and dim or brighten the screen all by moving or focusing their eyes on certain areas.

Barbara Barclay, General Manager of Tobii North America, comments:

We anticipate that people will be extremely excited to be able to control their computer with their eyes. But what we find most exciting are the opportunities that eye control as part of natural user interfaces offer consumer electronics manufacturers in a range of product categories.
