InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Canada, has designed a chair that could help an individual sit or stand with ease. This invention is patented.

The “Ultimate Chair” design would feature a modified wooden chair with compressions springs on the rear legs.

This design could make it easier for those with mobility issues to rise or sit in a chair. A user may experience a reduction in strain on the knees or back.

The Ultimate Chair would consist of a modified chair similar in shape and size to a standard wooden chair. A compression spring would be located on each rear leg of the chair. The springs would be designed to raise or lower the seat. The seat of the chair would tilt slightly forward when not in use. As an individual sits in the chair, the user’s body weight would compress the springs to level the seat. When the user attempts to stand, the springs aid the individual by raising the chair’s legs as the body weight is removed. The device could be produced from wood, metal or injection-molded plastic. Variations could include different chair styles and sizes.
