“Reality Touchscreen” Is 10 Meters Long, Accepts 100 Touch Inputs

Reality Touchscreen

The University of Groningen (yeah, we had to look it up on G Maps too) has managed to convert a 3D theater into a large ass touchscreen. How large you say? Well, freakingly gigantic large say we.

It measures 10 meters by 2.8 meters and can detect upto 100 simultaneous touch inputs. The screen has a curvature of 135 degrees. The screen operates by means of infra red lamps and cameras that help in detecting the touch. The screen is used for teaching students interactivity.  Follow the jump for a great video.
