The two aircrafts successfully completed their first test runs
The concept of flying cars has been around for decades and the idea of it being a reality isn’t as distant as you might think. Terrafugia’s Transition and the Pal-V are flying vehicles that can both drive on the roads and fly in the air. The two aircrafts successfully completed their first test runs and the results look promising for the concept of flying cars to be commercialized.
The Transition looks like a small spacecraft while the Pal-V is similar to a compact helicopter but the rotor spins much slower so it’s easier to control.
The Transition remained at an altitude of 425 meters and stayed within the precinct of the Plattsburgh International Airport. Carl Dietrich, Terrafugia’s CEO, commented that:
